Dwelling Under the Shadow
In the busyness of life, we can misplace things. It’s unfornature to lose anything precious but to lose your sense of trust and security is hard. However, Scripture gives us hope. With an intentional and intimate walk with God, we can journey into a relationship with Him where we can rest in with blessed assurance.
Psalm 91:1-2 reminds us of the significance of keeping our hope and faith in the right space, with the right One:
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God, in him will I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2
Being in constant conversation with the Most High, seeking the place of close connection, we can declare with confidence that we dwell under the care and powerful guidance. We can trust Him because of His consistent and unwavering nature. That’s just who He is!
His shadow of protection covers us. We can rely on Him securely for strength, peace, safety, and love. So as you memorize this passage, let it sink in: in my sacred fellowship with God, I’m protected, I find refuge, and perfect security.
